Pansarap Project

Nourishing Young Minds

The PanSarap Project is a school-based nutritional supplementation program dedicated to supporting children identified as “severely wasted”. Its primary goal is to help improve the nutritional status of learners by providing nutritious bread during recess time, ensuring they receive consistent and adequate nourishment while in school.

Aligned with the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN), the program is implemented over a 90- to 120-day period to sustain nutritional support that contributes to healthier growth and better learning outcomes for children.

Moreover, the PanSarap Project complements existing school feeding initiatives by supplying locally produced buns which are carefully prepared to address the dietary needs of severely wasted learners. This approach not only improves nutrition but also supports local production and community involvement.

The program is implemented in identified schools across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao where malnutrition among children is most prevalent. Through PanSarap, the Office of the Vice President remains committed to making a tangible and lasting difference in the lives of young learners—helping them grow healthier, stronger, and more ready to learn.
